Teamlead Control

Our client is an international organisation with a strong footprint in equipment logistics. They have hubs on different continents and are expanding rapidly. Main language is English and they are open to receive international candidates for this role. Together with the Finance Manager and CFO you will make sure the organisation can achieve their future growth goals and build a stable and reliable finance team.

You will manage the finance operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL revenue recognition, inventory and cost accounting (Team of 5). You will make sure all accounts are compliant under local law. Amongst controlling all entities, you will also take care of the following:

• Risk Management (Compliance): Implement and maintain a risk control matrix to comply with local financial, tax and internal regulations;
• Monthly and annual reporting: Execute the month end closing transactions, resulting in completeness and accuracy of administrations. Works together with business controller concerning budget, forecast and reporting;
• Processes and Procedures: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls;
• Participate in process and finance IT systems improvement projects. Implement and maintain (local) financial and tax rules and regulations (e.g. Dutch GAAP, EU VAT/Sales tax, corporate tax, property tax);
• Manage team performance: Leading, motivating and supporting the accounting team members. Leading by example and drive people’s development.

• Relevant degree in finance. ACCA, CPA etc would be nice to have;
• 5-10 years of financial control experience;
• Experienced working with Finance ERPsystems;
• Strong computer skills, MS Word, MS excel(Formulas, Pivots) and Business Intelligence software;
• Experience with US and/or NL GAAP is desired;
• Fluent in English (verbal and writing), Dutch would be a nice to have.
