Junior Accountant

Our client is a leading and rapidly growing organization in the agricultural sector. The company operates both nationally and internationally. To support the company's growth and further professionalize Finance & Accounting, they are seeking a Junior Accountant. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of the organisation. With a focus on sustainability and profitable growth, the Junior Accountant will also contribute to the further development of the organisation, which is known for its innovative approach and substantial growth in recent years. You will join a great team with a positive atmosphere, where communication lines are short, and a collegial spirit prevails. Besides yourself, the Finance department consists of the CFO, Finance Manager, Credit Manager, Financial Controller, Business Controller and various accounting colleagues at different locations.

As a Junior Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for various tasks related to the company's different entities, including:

• Maintaining the general ledger, inventory administration, and asset register;
• Timely and accurate processing of financial transactions;
• Further optimizing (financial) processes;
• Assisting during the month-end closing.

The ideal candidate is a team player capable of managing their own tasks and priorities effectively. Additionally, you should have:

• A completed BA's (HBO) degree in business economics;
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language;
• Several years of relevant work experience;
• A hands-on mentality;
• Affinity with numbers;
• Proficiency in Excel.
