Credit Controller, French markets

To strengthen the Finance team in Roelofarendsveen, the company is now looking for a French-speaking Credit Controller. The coming years will mainly be about further professionalising Finance & Control to a higher level. Together with the credit control team the Credit Controller is responsible for the accounts receivable management of the customers in the French markets. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with sales and customer contact center to improve processes and procedures to improve collection;
• Ensure that companies that pay too late, receive reminders and follow them up by telephone where necessary;
• Monitoring overdue receivables, identifying and addressing collection risk issues and minimizing total DSO;
• Ensure that issues are satisfactorily addressed by working closely with customer service;
• Record and document active payment problems and customer communications;
• Communicate proactively and clearly with internal and external customers;
• Managing and monitoring payment deadlines, identify and anticipate risks;
• Approaching customers regarding overdue bills;
• Blocking and releasing customer orders;
• Handling ad hoc issues and projects.

• Familiar with the booking and processing of bank statements;
• Strong knowledge in English and French, spoken and written;
• a BS/MS degree (HBO/WO) in Finance or Accounting; 
• Able to work independently as well as within a team;
• 3/5 years of relevant working experience;
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
• Accuracy and service-minded.
